Theme Park Maths
In maths lessons, we have been completing a theme park challenge.
For homework, you have a creative activity to promote your theme park.
Task: Create a poster to advertise your theme park
Ask your teacher for paper/ resources if needed.
✅ What to Include on Your Poster:

Name of your theme park
-
Location (real or made up)
-
3–5 main attractions (rides, shows, zones, etc.)

Ticket price (be realistic but persuasive!)
-
Special offers (family deals, opening day prizes, etc.)

A slogan or catchy phrase

Why people should come – what makes your park the best?

Fun pictures or drawings to show off your park
Persuasive Features You Can Use:

Alliteration: “Wild Water World” or “Terrific Thrill Towers!”

Exaggeration: “The fastest rollercoaster on Earth!”

Rhetorical questions: “Are you ready for the adventure of a lifetime?”

Emotive language: “Unforgettable memories for the whole family”
Last Week's Homework
Task 1 - Choose the 2 star OR the 3 star volume activity from below (ask your teacher for a printed copy).
Challenge - Find a cuboid at home (any packaging for example), label the length, width and height as well at the volume. Bring the cuboid into school to go on our maths displays!
